Archbold Medical Center is Hiring an ATHLETIC TRAINER Near THOMASVILLE, GA

Description:
Develop, implement and evaluate effectiveness of policies and procedures
Responsibilities will include providing services in the office as well as at athletic events
Responsibilities will also include casting
Evaluate extent of patient's/athlete's injury/illness
Provide immediate treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning of injury
Perform in office follow up visits
Determine the individual's readiness to participate in activities
Educate athletes, parents, coaches and administration on safe facilities and protocols
Advise on the appropriateness and safety of equipment
Develop effective interventions to reduce injuries and illnesses for athletes
Help identify at risk individuals
Assist with pre-season physicals
Work with treatment team, patient, and family to ensure coordinated outcomes
Provide referrals as needed
Complete documentation accurately and timely
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field required
Master's Degree preferred
GA license or license eligible
ATC or eligible
Current CPR
Minimum of two years of experience preferred
